It is literally a fork of uBO
It is literally a fork of uBO
Let me say it plainly, you have been cheated out of growing up. Parents, teachers, they all have a duty to care for people in their, well, care. That is pretty fucked up.
I was the weird kid once, I’m still a weird adult, but I was super lucky to have family and teachers that cared. I’ve seen lots of people with lots of mental issues that “turned out fine”, whatever that might be. Your experience is not the norm. I have a hard time imagining what went on in your parents’ heads. Some people are just genuinely bad people, I am sorry that you had to grow up with those.
You know what sounds good? You seem to move from the self-hate towards hating those who caused you harm. Still not the best state of mind, but a lot better, trust me.
Just from the random rant you post here, you don’t seem to be too dumb. Coherent sentences and all that. It’s a low bar, I know, but I’m not making fun of you, there are millions of people around you who would not clear it. Trust me, there are people that would consider stacking the shelves at the supermarket an intellectual challenge.
So, yeah. The past is only going to get you so far. You’re still here, for whatever reason you haven’t jumped off a bridge yet. This is going to sound like “don’t be sad, lol”. But you’re (probably) young, seem to be physically mostly ok, and you’re not dumb. Maybe, every now and then, spend some time thinking about what to do with that. They say the best revenge is a life well lived.
This is funny, just yesterday I randomly found phones with built-in VHF/UHF radios on Aliexpress. To be fair, they look super clunky and are very expensive for off-brand Chinese phones ($800+), but they do exist. I wonder who buys them.
Story time!
Some years ago, I had to get up very early for a job. So, to make it easier on me, I bought/built some programmable LED lights and set them to gradually shift from dark red to bright blue-white.
Fast forward some years, and I can comfortably ignore bright sunlight and 50W of white LEDs in my face. I don’t even bother to put down the shutters any more. I wake up, semi-consciously acknowledge that it is morning, turn around and continue sleeping.
I have gotten used to coffee and desert. I am officially an old man now.
However, the Italians/French are onto something, an espresso after lunch is great. It gives you half an hour or so of slacking off and then the caffeine kicks in.
Of the three trans people I know IRL, all of them are in a (from the outside) stable, monogamous relationship. The only poly people I know are cis-het.
Let’s consider that bias influences what we see and want to see.
Even if you have a more straightforward resumee than me… You finish school here at 18, 5 years planned time for most master degrees, that makes you 23-24. Longer if you take a detour here or there.
Me neither. I was at one trade school and two universities in central Europe, and I haven’t heard of any serious bullying. At most at the trade school, because the average age was around 18-19 and “shop talk” is a bit rougher by default. But at uni, where half the people are like 25?
What the fuck is wrong with your place that there is bullying at university? I think most people left that shit in high school, and I could have gone for days at uni without interacting with someone if I wanted…
You’re the first lemmynsfw I spotted in the wild. Wear the horny with pride.
Cold call is a good one, I’m stealing that
Alright, let me finish my beer and then we throw hands. Belgian beer is meh.
They are already getting more. They want more more.
Fair point.
Again, that is the thing I don’t understand. They are already filthy rich. Why crash and burn everything? Wouldn’t it be better to just continue making boatloads of money?
Alienate all your allies speedrun
Jokes aside, why? There literally is no good reason to piss of people that like you and are willing to work with you
Nice. I always found it easiest to follow the authority of people who don’t care about their authority, if that makes sense
Honestly? I know nothing about your situation. So maybe this is completely off. In that case, sorry for being cliche. But try burger flipping (or shelve packing, or…) at least once. In the worst case, you have a better reason to hate the system now, in the best case, you get some routine. Or, I don’t know, help some people with stuff. Does not even matter what it is. But humans were not meant to do nothing.
Yes, but only the social media that paid to be included in the plan in the first place. That just continues monopolies.
