  • These are people who don’t want rights, they want privileges. They don’t want equality, they want hierarchy. They can’t say “gimme gimme”, they say “take America back”.

From who? Americans. They want to take what you have. Now that Republicans control the Federal Government they will start to take from each other.

This literally happened during the first Trump administration. Does no Trump supporter remember how they all fought for attention and sucked so badly?

  • the whole genocide thing

No informed voter thought Trump would be better for Palestine than Kamala. Remember, people say one thing publicly when their private reasons are actually less popular.

The conservative Muslims who claimed they loved Palestine voted for Republicans because they are conservative. They are using the Palestinian people as political pawns, just like Hamas. They share conservative values with Republicans based on cultural issues. They differ on the justification for it, but they are all supporters of hierarchy. Same with conservative Latinos.

It’s not popular to say “I like hierarchy and I want to be on top”. Many supporters of hierarchy claim they love “individual rights” when they really want privileges for themselves. That’s the reason why some people love the “Bill of Rights” but hate equality.

    Please re-read:

Do you think “neurotypical” people love dealing with random people’s opinions and needs?

Disliking a suit and tie isn’t some revelation to “normies”. You are not a radical for thinking that. In fact, all the little things that annoy you probably annoy other people too.

This is a clue to easy small talk. Just say that something annoys you. “Oh man, this suit is murder in this heat.” It’s easy.

Either the answer will be “Yeah man, heh” or “nah, I like it”. You have now successfully engaged in small talk.

exist because of ridiculous social expectations

This is called “taking other people’s opinions into account”. That’s what a society is. If you want your opinions listened to and acted on by others, you have to reciprocate.

Do you think “neurotypical” people love dealing with random people’s opinions and needs? No, but they see the value in cooperating with others to get what they want. You are “expected” to wear clothes in public because I don’t know how often you bathe yourself. You are “expected” to not yell in public because if every rando yelled whenever they wanted, life would be more stressful.

  • Except… it looks like people did start posting. So the users were crowded out by bots before and they’re posting now. That just shows that Reddit isn’t dead, but it does have too many bots.

I mean, I’m sure many people here wish there was more non-bot content. It’s annoying to see something on Reddit and come back here and see the same thing.

  • When you close a business on paper you don’t suddenly lose access to services in the name of that business.

Yes you do. Your bank account is in the old business’s name, and any lines of credit you have will be in that business’s name as well. Doing anything for a new business is harder than for an established one. Once you explain “oh yeah I did own that one, I just changed the name for tax purposes” you sound like a scammer.

Banks and suppliers (good ones) are not going to waste their time figuring out your scheme. They will just drop you.

  • True. One of the biggest parts of modern-day American exceptionalism is thinking that only America has these problems. People who claim to dislike America unknowingly put it on a pedestal as “the worst thing ever”, without acknowledging the very similar problems in their own backyard.

The main point of American exceptionalism is that “America is different from other countries”, to an advanced degree. Some people mean “good” when they say “different”, but it’s not necessary.

American exceptionalism is the belief that the United States is either distinctive, unique, or exemplary compared to other nations.
