@OtakuAltair At this point I don’t care about redittors or reddit. It can go on to be wildly successful, doesn’t matter to me, I’ve moved on.

Effectively, there is no benefit. But if you are looking for really niche stuff you can’t find on public trackers, you might have success on a private one with a focused category of torrents
@hyde I hope the same for windows users, but here we are haha
@hyde too an extent yes, but once again, if you give root access to malware because you don’t know any better, well you’re kind of just as screwed. If linux is to become more mainstream and be a daily driver of the average user, this could be a common scenario
@hyde running sketchy files on linux can be just as dangerous as windows. Linux’s strength comes from it’s trusted ecosystem of repositories and mainly open source programs which are easily auditable.
@Ivyymmy The whole point of that site is to distribute viruses, so if you didn’t get one consider yourself lucky. You should run windows defender, malwarebytes and norton power eraser just to be sure
You can just download the demo and use that
People still use the piratebay? Thought it was all viruses now
Lot’s of people can’t play VR, including me. I’m not going to force my way through feeling like shit day after day to enjoy something.
I actually thought halo 4 was decent, at least for the first entry for someone taking over. But it just got worse. I really despised halo infinites campaign, it just felt so incredibly lazy.
To me half life 2 and alyx feel more like tech demos then actual well rounded great games. They obviously aren’t bad, but over rated for what they are.
I dare you go say an unpopular opinion in a knitting sub, lets see how good it goes for you
Can’t say I have ever needed the water resistance, but I also never drop my phone, so I guess I’m in the minority.
considering how early it is, this place is very active
Niche sub is just another way of saying echo chamber. Reddit was shit, every part of it
Fair, but how about the stuff you didn’t notice? You’d never know. College professors are being tricked everyday.
Eh, not as big of a deal as people think. You’ve probably already read lots of AI generated content without even realising it
I’m actually impressed how active this place is
In a blog post published by Reddit, the company links to its Moderator Code of Conduct while saying “Dissent, debate, and discussions are foundational parts of Reddit” and it respects the right to protests. However, the rules state that the company can remove moderators if they are uncooperative.
We respect your right to protest, but we also respect our right to not let you protest lolll
@friend_of_satan I think it has a better meaning if you don’t go the shovel route with that comment, if you know what I mean
