  • I’m going to paint with broad strokes here to give you an overview, but always make it work for yourself. (Sorry for shit formatting. I can’t make the bullets work for me on mobile).

    • Edge. This is largely rooted in male physiology, where refractory periods are longer, but edging still heightens sexual sensations anyways. Practice working yourself up as fast as possible and/or holding your edge (marathons). Jerk off instructional (JOI) videos are a good place to start. Edging is something you do for fun, but also a routine for developing triggers.

    • Identify and develop triggers. A classic rule is “one tit out” where you have to edge yourself immediately. Not only will you start with your kinks/favorites as triggers, but you’ll develop triggers too. This is not limited to mainstream stuff like ahegao faces, feet, or individual porn stars (“porn god/esses”). This usually includes gooning to ideas (e.g., misogyny), fetishizing porn itself (“porn mommy”), gooning to things that aren’t porn, developing more triggers (especially hardcore or cringe), and the fetishizing your addiction to porn—literally gooning to gooning.

    • Add drugs. Goon with poppers or weed to enhance their sessions.

    • Become porn. There’s a double standard for content creation. If you’re a woman, the expectation is that you’ll make yourself into porn (e.g., pics, vids, audios). If you’re a man, the expectation is that you’ll throw money at findoms, make content (porn music videos; pmvs, or captions), or post cum tributes (literally cumming on a pic/video).

    • Make bad decisions. For many, this turns into (self-)humiliation of their porn addiction as worship. This can include online confessions, where gooners revel in their self-sabotage: giving up on hygiene, missing deadlines, becoming anti-social, relapsing after a break from gooning, or prioritizing porn over their partner (“porn widow”).

    • Share your triggers or goon with others. Folks glorify irl meetups, but it’s usually no more than fantasy. Gooners may find other gooners to exchange porn with, usually not of themselves. Some take to platforms like Discord, where someone screenshares porn that everyone goons too. (This might include giving others advice on how to goon :)

    • Go deeper, get worse. Gooners always encourage each other to edge longer and to deepen their addiction.

By this point, you’ll notice a couple of things. First, gooning can be hardcore, especially with the reinforcing cycles. (But you can’t goon tomorrow if you get arrested for gooning in public)! Second, gooning is super contradictory. Gooner are supposed to edge, but use each other to cum irl? Women are only good for porn, but worship findoms? You should always be gooning, but relapsing is crucial? The key is to have fun while staying safe and sane.

Hope this helps you get a sense of what gooning could look like and, better yet, get your imagination going!

  • Although Sanger rejected racist bigotry…

Gotta take a break from my regularly scheduled porn posting to add a note to that.

Even in her most eugenics book, The Pivot of Civilization, Sanger did not tie fitness for reproduction to any particular ethnic group. It appears that Sanger was motivated by a genuine concern to improve the health of poor mothers she served rather than a desire to eliminate their stock. Danger believed that all their affiliations arose from their unrestrained fertility, not their genes or racial heritage. For this reason, I agree that Sanger’s reviews were distinct from those of her eugenecist colleagues. Sanger nevertheless promoted two of the most perverse tenets of eugenic thinking: that social problems are caused by reproduction of the socially disadvantaged and that their childbearing should therefore be deferred. In a society marked by racial hierarchy, these principles inevitably produced policies designed to reduce Black women’s fertility. The judgement of who is fit and who is unfit, of who should reproduce and who should not, incorporated the racist ideologies of the time. (p. 81, emphasis added).
