The cops bust down the door, executed the family dog for doing what the family dog is supposed to do, cuffed mom and dad then proceeded to walk the young child in the house out past the dog they just executed all to find a single pipe and about .3 grams of pot. Oh I have no doubt that Power School (and many other similar vendors) hands out these contractor accounts, I mean for the schools themselves to willingly hand over keys like that. At the very least, a vendor support account shouldn’t have or need access to confidential data to support the service/product. I would raise a stink about it, but then again, I’m blessed to still be internal IT staff at my employment. This product/service is undoubtedly sold as a means to completely replace staff like me. There’s no security issues if there are no competent internal IT staffers left to point out the obvious holes! FAFO.
