You don’t have to go full Vader

I’ve bought yeast from all over Europe and had it shipped to me over the past 7-8 years. Never once have I had an issue with quality of the yeast received. I honestly wouldn’t be too worried.

Are the cultures “ready to pitch” or will they still need propagation for a “regular” 20L batch of 5-7% ABV?

What kind of printing (material, use-case etc.) do you think you’ll be doing, and what size do you want to be able to print?

Low-cost and no-hassle kind of work against each other here. Which is more important?

Mindre kød har jeg ikke noget imod, det synes jeg også er helt fint. Det er grådigheden af menneskerne bag beslutningen jeg finder problematisk.

Tror godt du kan regne med, at priserne stiger en del mere end det (korrigeret for inflation)…ikke reelt på grund af co2 afgiften, men helt sikkert med afgiften som undskyldning for at hæve priserne.

I have no clue if that can be considered standard, but for the really cheap off-brand models I honestly wouldn’t assume it works well.

I want head mounted for better visibility and so that I can turn my head and capture (oncoming car, someone who runs a stoplight and I want to follow with the camera easily).

Yeah I get that, but IME running with something semi-heavy protruding even slightly from your head, gets really annoying after an hour. I haven’t run with a can strapped to my head, but my old headlamp was annoying and it weighs significantly less than a can.

Some sort of action-cam is probably the only real option. Gopro is probably the best known, but you can probably find cheaper alternatives with lower specs. I doubt you’ll find anything that’s much smaller than the gopro form factor.

I would probably go for a chest-mount instead of head-mount though, it seems to me like that is more comfortable for longer durations.

Jeg har dimset med 3D printeren…må erkende at printeren nok er blevet lige så meget hobbyen i sig selv som det tænkte formål med at kunne printe diverse ting selv. Men det er sgu sjovt at rode med det skidt og min/max en entry-level printer til at performe ganske udmærket.

Men ungerne får da også lidt godt af det, designede sammen med dem et par lys sværd (sammenklappelige) som de kan lege med. Og de fik i den forbindelse lidt smag på hvordan produktudvikling foregår igennem flere iterationer, hvor man forbedrer det lidt hver gang.

Nu står den på print af diverse specialdesignede beslag til julepynten så det kan hænges op uden man kan se kroge osv.

You still need to mess with octoprint before this can do anything for you, so it’s not really turnkey anyway.

I recently had massive issues reaching my home network from hotel WiFi. I couldn’t even connect my regular VPN on their WiFi, I tried a bunch of stuff with different ports, TCP/UDP, different protocols, nothing seemed to work even for my proton VPN.

I managed to get mullvad running though, then I could connect with tailscale (with mullvad VPN still running) and then disable mullvad after tailscale connected. Tailscale then didn’t drop the connection.

Weird work around, but it was consistent.
