Fair enough, good quote (btw I’m not from US so my knoledge here is limited). Although I’m not sure what portion I agree/disagree with it, I have to think about it much more.

But I mean, even MLK understood that there’s a limit, right? Like he didn’t take AK47 and started to murder all the racists he saw but have chosen rather strong but non violent approach and he thought about what he was saying and what “works”. And that’s all I’m saying, I’ve never said that you cannot take a strong stance. But if you turn it to 11 and just RAGE!!! then be prepared that you might not achieve anything or even make the situation worse

I fully agree. This applies not only to feminism but in general - if you want to convince people about something, you need to plan your approach, what to say, know what works on people etc. You cannot just rage like crazy because there’s a high chance you just create a counter reaction.

F.e. I’d say we can all agree that gay rights are the right thing. But if you come to some conservative village, start shouting at everyone, being super aggresive and rage like a maniac, I’d bet that the only thing you achieve is that you’ll be labeled as “that crazy person”

Good, I agree. And I still argue that the word ‘privilege’ isn’t correct here. We want to call this ‘double standard’, ‘unfairness’, ‘disadvantage’, ‘advantage’, … that’s up to a debate. But I rest my case that this isn’t a ‘privilege’

How is that a ‘privilege’? I don’t know like you but for me the ‘privilege’ is something above normal, above standard, above majority. A king has a privilege of not paying taxes, everyone must pay them but not him, he has this privilege. A diplomat has a privileges that are above law, like they cannot get fine for speeding. We could say a kid whos parents are billionaires has a (hypothetical) privilige in life where they can get everything they want and family budget isn’t affected. That is not normal and only few chosen ones have those privileges.

So back to my question - not being judged by the way you look is not something above normal. That is the standard, that should be a norm. I don’t know how we want to call the situation in the post but that’s not a privilege. At all. Rant over.

Because it isn’t an AI actually, it’s just LLM. It’s trained to create pictures that look similar to pictures of humans and it does pretty good job at it. The number of fingers or structure of hand doesn’t matter, it’s close enough. If it’d be intelligent, it’d know that humans have 5 fingers. But it isn’t

Unpopular opinion but wine.

From my experience majority of people can’t distinguish between 5€ wine and 500€ wine. And even if they do, they say it tastes “a bit better”, not worth the 495€ difference. Pick one that tastes good to you and don’t be ashamed if it’s cheap.
