  • Yeah my point is rather that logistics companies, healthcare, all the things we consider essential work, need a lot of office workers as well. Like a lot.

If those people could not have stayed at home, the spread would’ve been much worse.

Not to even mention the long term effects if all “non-essential” businesses with office workers just stayed st home and those businesses would shut down for that while. It would’ve had massive consequences for the global economy.

Imagine the consequences for a generation of kids, essentially missing a few years of education. Even not it had a significant effect.

So yeah I miss a lazy 90’s night as well, just enjoying hanging out outside or if with electronics, still like socially, 4 sweaty dudes hunkered in front of a n64 goldeneye match (no oddjob). Or just fking tossing rocks while sitting on some stairs in the evening sunshine. Into a lake, usually. Ah. Great days.

  • They should be knitting together next week, I’d wager.

1st act, first three episodes: introduce the characters

2nd act, 3-6: set up happenings for introduced characters

3rd act, eps 7,8,9: start bringing it together and conclude everything

    Or shorter 1 set-up, 2 confrontation, 3 resolution.

Resolution should be less confusing as set up and start of confrontation. I do take your point, but I liked the way they did it and I’m a huge league lore nerd from like 2011 so I don’t know if that affects it.

  • Okay as someone who isn’t from an English-speaking country, would you mind elaborating on what the usage is in this case so I understand the title better?

    Thanks

I mean I get regional differences and I’d say my knowledge of them is fairly high for someone who wasn’t speaking English, but it’s impossible to actually have perfect recall all the time. I still check whether licence was the noun or verb in the UK (license being the verb). And always hesitate with defence vs defense. Flat vs apartment boot vs trunk and all those are simple though, but I can’t know all them. :F
