I had this happen recently with Freetube and the, very strangely, age restricted new trailer for a Darktide update. Hope the big brains figure out a work around. Even invidious fallback wouldn’t play it.

I must admit I was slightly disappointed I did not.

I did virtually no exploration due to how rough it was running, only goal was to try out combat.
There was an oasis mons gathered at, not sure if it was more than knee deep. Or if there was any other water.
But, in trailers, we have seen some swimming and diving to gather. More than this mobile trailer.

It was one of my favorites. Not only can you go manual like others said, but you can do other chores while it drives for you. And I really hated getting lost in the ancient forest, so anything that prevents that again is a plus for me. Especially if the beta frequency of monsters running wasn’t overtuned like the weather changing.

I was kind of hoping a little that I’d get the n64 bug but did not. I’m not sure what triggered it, possibly trying the higher settings, which I did not do.

Yeah, with the popularity of the series, waiting to get it is definitely more viable now. Especially with the eventual expansion and future bundles.

I didn’t even get to test playing with friends. Good to know. I did a few SOS flares and only got the AI companions, which was fine but surprising with how many people were playing. I did get one other person joining one of my hunts when I did not intentionally SOS or open it for joining, so that was confusing.

It was never a preorder for me, but absolutely is a wait for reviews or performance patch for sure.

I run a 2070 super, i7 10700k, 32GB RAM and 1080p. I was surprised how I eventually managed to get it to run given all the early reports I saw. But I would 100% not pay for that.

I’m roughly right in line the the lower/older options for the rec specs.

Putting everything as low as it will go and messing with the DLSS options, I was able to get to decent (~60FPS) performance in hunts at 1080p, but it was ugly as shit. Good enough to test combat.

You know they had to know what they were doing with the black flame reveal. I almost shit a brick thinking it was straight up Nakarkos at first. I think it being named mythical like that and the grab attack we saw in the trailer probably point to elder level fight

I don’t overreact to things I can tell are regional dialects and whatnot. But I recently watched a movie review where the guy pronounced linear as “li-nEAR” and I was the personification of the double take white guy meme. Never heard that one before. And he kept using it throughout, so, somehow, this 30ish year old man has never been corrected. I think everyone that knows him might be playing a cruel joke.
