No! That’s not sad at all. I find it much easier to express my creativity through other outlets but often find myself pretty envious of how creative and put together people make themselves look in person!
I’ve been making a 3d vtuber model to use for one of my dungeons and dragons characters, and this week has been mostly focused on her outfit and jewelry. She’s got a very fantasy pirate looking blouse and skirt, with a necklace and earrings made with beads, driftwood, and seashells.
https://www.youtube.com/@ElliotCoen for reviews of discs and boutique media, sometimes I want to watch stuff I see Corridor Crew talk about, or cinemastix. Edit: I’m very interested if anyone knows of any women out there doing film reviews or discussions. It’s mostly dudes out there.
There’s a few movie collectors I follow on youtube and I consider their recommendations and reviews of bluray discs. I’ve also picked up at least one movie from someone talking about it during one of those wired ‘tech’ support videos. Following a hashtag like cinemastodon or something can also get you some organic recommendations.
“Documents obtained under the freedom of information law show that then-Brookfield Asset Management vice-chair Mark Carney made a presentation to John Horgan’s cabinet on June 16, 2021.”
I am struggling to find something to find interesting here, aside from a reporter going back 4 years to dig up receipts for something completely reasonable and normal.

After almost half of British Columbians voted for Rustad… I’m not entirely surprised by this result.
Hey Poland! You got a copy of the Geneva Checklist?
So I am pretty uninformed and I have a gut reaction that I am going to look into today, but I’d appreciate anyone’s insight here. My gut feeling is that crypto is kind of… not-good aligned let’s say. It’s wasteful. It’s often predatory. How can it work with Buddhist ethos?
"Kealy, meanwhile, alluded to starting a new political party. Two seats are needed for official party status in the B.C. legislature. " Imagine a party made of MLA’s who are so repugnant even the Conservatives won’t touch them with a ten foot pole.
A true leader. God bless.
Finally! This is what true freedom of speech looks like. Imagine being so free to say things and NEVER have to hear anyone oppose you.
Or go try the demo. It IS eerily uncanny. It’s not at the point where it would fool you for long, but it’s close enough to get caught up in it from time to time.
You could fix the fsd by simply taking it out. Come to think of it, that could work for Melon Husk too.
Sadly I don’t think the shysters and oligarchs creating this current shit show are going to darwin themselves. They aren’t stupid, just evil.
“If Trump’s policies reduce the income of Americans, that’s not good for us as a trading partner,” he said. “I don’t wish ill upon our trading partners, I hope that they recover from the insanity that’s taking place right now.”
“Last week, the words “transgender” and “queer” were deleted from the National Parks Service website for the Stonewall National Monument, to demonstrate compliance with one of Trump’s executive orders. A biographical note about legendary activist Sylvia Rivera was nonsensically edited to read “At a young age Sylvia began fighting for gay and rights,” with no effort to even replace the deleted, dreaded word “transgender” from where it had originally appeared (following “and”).”
This is possibly malicious compliance from someone who can’t afford to lose their job. Doing what they are told but leaving an obvious mark that something important is missing.
I just wish LLM felt better to say than AI. Like AI just rolls off the tongue but LLM feels like a mouthful. That doesn’t help :(
“Let’s set aside the obvious conflict of interest and ethics questions at play here —” You can’t, and you shouldn’t.
"We can even skip over the security implications pointed out by a cybersecurity expert in the Times piece. " You can’t, and you shouldn’t.
“As a practical matter alone, there’s no obvious reason to add another ISP in order to improve Wi-Fi coverage” It doesn’t take an entire paragraph to figure out what’s going on here let alone an entire article.
As someone from north of the USA border… PLEASE stop this man from stealing your country, Americans.
