I didn’t say they wanted to die I said I would rather die.
They were only killed if they were already held hostage, like don’t get me wrong dying is the end all your life is just over but being held kidnapped for over a year being raped and tortured seems worse to me than just dying as I got kidnapped knowing my kidnappers got killed too.
Gate valves not globe valves? Maybe they are just older than me but gate valves seem like a horrendous design for faucets as they are generally much larger than the size of the piping due to the gate and they have very poor throttling capabilities
It can be less regressive depending how it’s done. Poor people spend much larger percentages of their income on essentials like food, clothing (non luxury), and rent which can all be made tax free. It can then actually tax people who do things like take out massive loans to cover their expenses while not technically earning an income.
Washington state has also never had an income tax and uses sales tax but makes many essential items tax free to try and be less of a burden on the poor
But we got much better technology in that time, you can get a 512gb sd card for $30-40 nowadays compared to when the iPhone came out that a 1gb thumb drive would have $10-20

If you want to just mainline caffeine I would recommend caffiene pills they are preportioned and are cheap here are the equivalent to 100g pre measured out for under $20
But my point still remains that the cost of caffeine is completely irrelevant to the cost of energy drinks

We do sometimes do that! The problem is the condenser water is usually in the mid 100Fs which by the time you pump that somewhere it cools even more and then most people don’t like living near power plants so the cost of running the pumps and the piping is generally more than the energy saved. Iceland has a lot of geothermal heat that people are much less opposed to living near vs O&G or nuclear
But how do you get the energy to pump the water up stream
The heat of vaporization is also a huge negative of using water as you need to condense the water and then reboil it which wastes a bunch of energy
On the nuclear side there are also alpha voltaics, beta voltaics and gamma voltaics that take radiation and generate electricity. Alpha rely on alpha particles ionizing usually a gas, Beta voltaics rely on beta particles which are electron or positron emissions and gamma voltaics take photons in the gamma region and use them to excite electrons to generate electricity.
Overall though heating water is significantly easier to do, more efficient, and more robust

First you need to just take a step back and calm down. There have been absolutely horrendous periods in human history and way worse in the history of the planet. If you can’t acknowledge the flaws of “your team” then you have a problem. Like clearly one is a shit ton worse than the other but if we don’t speak out about what we don’t like about our “team” how is it ever going to get better
$10000/ton is $5/lb from a quick google search they are about $250/lb for industrial diamonds. So 50* 50 or 2500 billion or 2.5 trillion with no idea if they can use run of the mill industrial diamonds or if there will be additional processing to get them into the aerosolized form also how are you going to launch them, and for how many years would we need to do it
