Serious question, how do I avoid Shopify for small businesses I want to support that have it as their only method of payment?
I don’t really want to be the guy that tells them their cost-effective payment processor sucks…I suppose I could offer to mail them a check or something…but I don’t know.

Me too! I so so so wish more places offered half portions. There are maybe two restaurants near me that offer half portions on every menu item and it’s amazing. It is just the right amount and I really don’t mind paying the 50%+$1 price or whatever.
