I meant they’d go insane with their presumed immortality.
Did Moriarty want to be conscious for eternity?

Wow. The amount of physical sets is quite surprising, along with some practical effects like those cactus cubes.
I’m also surprised this film took so long to be greenlit and created, considering The Lego Movie’s success ten years ago.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Not to take this post too seriously, but why wouldn’t the holodeck simulate aging, as well?
If growth and aging were not a part of their universe then Moriarty and the Countess would go insane during their “lifetime of exploration and adventure”.
🤔
Now that looks familar… 🤔
Fitting that the Bene Gesserit “Witches” should adopt such an implement to test their own subjects, lol.
The upgraded sprites look like mobile game rejects.
Succinctly put. I feel like the original vision did not intend for them to look so cartoonish.
Starcraft 1 remaster looked so much better, too. Was that done by the same team?
My internet is fast
Was this written in 2002?
Sadly if most computers weren’t ‘walled garden’ experiences then maybe the kids could learn to tinker and fix them. As it is if the issue can’t be fixed from a settings app then they’re stuck.
Thank you for the clarification. That was a very risky click.
So did someone f**k a costco rotisserie chicken and this is how I’m learning about it?
Anyone have a mirror to the clip and/or article? It appears to be paywalled or something. (Account walled?)
I’m already starting to miss these good ol’ fashion human-made photoshop shitposts & memes.

Almost anything involving the space-magic Enterprise D dish between the engine nacels:
Need more power? Modify the main deflector and divert power from shields.
Space anomoly? Bombard it with tachyon particles from the main deflector.
Need to modulate frequency of phaser array because a borg cube adapted to your weapons? Use the main deflector to send a resonance pulse and overwhelm their shields with a flood of positronic particles.
I appreciate the clarification zzz711 :) . I’m with accideath, however. I’m old enough to remember classic photo projectors, but I fail to see the punch line.
Maybe there’s a joke about the Air Force failing to distinguish between Up and Down? Or perhaps the leadership of a project involving such complex mechanics as Nuclear Warheads is not expected to be comically inept with a simple projector.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Woooow.
I wonder what this development holds for Sony’s future of live service games.
I’m really hoping Sony re-invests in smaller projects and Studios. I really miss the Twisted Metal series and smaller games like Fat Princess.
A six-year project on a trend is way too risky, when these trends change so fast.
I… Don’t get it. But please accept my upvote.
I said “Presumed immortality”. Meaning Moriarty presumed he would live forever. They did not know they were in a memory cube. They had no reason to believe they wouldn’t exist forever, as a hologram manifested into reality.
Now if the concept of desiring death in the face of immortality is foreign to you, then I invite you to watch Season 2 Episode 18 of Star Trek Voyager: Death Wish
