Bears are basically just giant dogs, it’s not fair
I really doubt anybody still would think bears are cute when looking at a real one close by.
The same is valid for most adult cats… But the comic has a point, bobcats seem to be an exception.

You mean domestic cats? Yes, those are cute.
If you get to see a lion or a tiger at some zoo, tell me if you find it cute.
Still, now that I’m back on the subject, recently a jaguar climbed from its habitat in a close zoo and put its pawn out of the fence to play. Most people immediately ran away, but there were some that stayed there with some “awww” face or filming it with their phones.
We made apex predators to friends.
