Hopefully if all goes well in review, and review times are not extremely long right now, then I will be releasing Arctic on the AppStore within the next week or so.

Thank you to all the great testers for all your support and feedback!

TestFlight builds are not going anywhere, I will be continuing to push new builds as often as possible, though releases may change a bit. Going forward we will have RC (release candidate) builds which will be targeted at bug and stability testing to ensure updates are not introducing new issues into the AppStore releases. I’ll have more information on this when I release the next TestFlight build.

I’m very excited with how far Arctic has come!

Unfortunately, there is no way to enable real in app purchases in TestFlight builds, and unfortunately the only way I could enable side-by-side installs of the TestFlight and AppStore releases is if I started a new TestFlight with a different identifier which I don’t exactly want to do.

I considered adding subscriptions to the Tip Jar, but I’ll need to review the AppStore guidelines and see if that is allowed. I would have done this yesterday while testing iAPs, but I was already tight on time and didn’t want to postpone the release to add subscriptions. I have a busy week, so yesterday was the last day to submit before waiting another week.

I’ll look into the guidelines and see if I can add subscriptions to the next AppStore release.

I noticed I can swap between AppStore and TestFlight versions while keeping my settings, so that will do it for now to use the real tip jar.

That’s a good catch, I should have mentioned that’s since I swap between the TestFlight build, and the internal Xcode build frequently for testing.
