I’ve been going through the Ratchet & Clank games starting from #1. Just finished Going Commando after awhile and was excited to move on to Deadlocked cause I loved the controls. I start up Up Your Arsenal cause it’s in order, and I find “lock-strafe mode” in the settings.

Holy. Shit. I’m like a kid in the candy store! I thought Deadlocked was the only game that allowed free-aiming like that, but apparently it’s in all the games after and including Arsenal!

This inspired me to try out PS3 emulation again, and lo and behold, it fucking works spectacularly. I’m using a gaming laptop with a 5600h and 3060, so I thought PS3 emulation was still out of reach. Not with Future: Tools of Destruction.

I’m now looking forward to playing the rest of the Future series, as I stopped with Tools of Destruction as a kid.

Quest for Booty has very respectable graphics and was a nice little game on PS3 as well.

Also the graphics are actually incredible, even better than the PS3 ports I think. You can tweak it further on your PC as well.

Also, you may know this already but A Crack in Time (in the Future series) is largely regarded as one of if not the best Ratchet & Clank game ever made, so I’m sure you’ll enjoy that one. Have fun Ratcheting!

Oh and one more thing. I played Size Matters properly (on PS2, but it’s also on PSP, PS Vita, or emulation) and I slept on it too much. It’s actually a great game.

Lastly I will say that I’m not sure if you played PS4 Ratchet & Clank remake or Rift Apart (PS5 or PC port) but both of those games are amazing to me.
