As pointed out in this post, this community has only one mod listed (@[email protected]), and they haven’t interacted with Lemmy for 6 months.

Is anyone interested in doing this?

Also, what is even the best way to do this? Should there be multiple mods? Who decides who becomes a mod?

I’m willing to help out (my current account is pretty sparse, my previous one was @[email protected]). Only concern is I’m not sure if reports federate to mods on external instances. Aside from that, the [email protected] community has very active mods too, they might be open to helping out here.

Some kind of vote sounds most sensible I guess. Pinned post with the candidates tagged in individual comments comes to mind

I’m interested too, although I’m also subject to the concern about reports federating to other instances.

I know this is an old post, but to answer the last question - to become a mod of an abandoned community, you generally need to message an instance administrator (in this case, @[email protected]) and request to be added as a mod.

I’m willing to moderate. Big NJB fan, I watch all his videos when they come out. I’m good at moderation and I have too much free time.
