Another invincible weapon! It is hilarious but also disgusting how US used the war as a commercial for their products.

Although, it did turn out to be piss poor advertising. We’ve learned that US weapons don’t really measure up to old Soviet tech, and a lot of the toys US produces end up breaking down, and can’t operate in the conditions like Ukraine. This war has been an eye opener for a lot of people.

That’s very good. Still, I am so angry when I look at YT films about military equipment and almost always I hear about “poor quality”, “primitive technology”, “manufactured by unskilled workers” in the context of soviet hardware. The technology has to be simple to be reliable – U$ and German nazi tanks were frequently overly complicated and thus less reliable and more expensive (one of peak examples, F35). And being simple means you do not need workers with Ph.D. in mechanics. Also, many soviet equipment were manufactured in rush because of the FUCKING WAR. Back in old days, I thought that the truth will defend by itself – but now I see that there are still many morons who believe every western propaganda. But it is cheering that at least some people took lesson from this war.

Polish nationalist will look at Soviet equipment and constantly use bullshit reasoning to diminish it, but mention the Błyskawica once and the tune shifts.
