Ok this is the last thing I’m gonna say on this matter. I’ve saved my dets on Chrome. I’ve written it in my book. I’ll get the man to save it on every possible thing he can think of.

The reason I persevered is because I actually like you guys and it’s a pretty positive atmosphere here and I’m a positive person.

I fucking hate technology. I have a headache.

I use a password manager called Bitwarden.

It can be used with phones and tablets and also has extensions for browsers.

Might be handy to also use it as well in combo with everything you’re already doing.

I tried everything. New account several times. I set up a new email. Then I’m sitting having my coffee and I thought I know my password is somewhat correct what about if I try 2 of my passwords together and it worked. Jfc. I’ve been trying since 6pm last night.

So do I but for some reason I didn’t record it and because I started using Chrome afterwards it wasn’t there either. I’ve learnt my lesson.

Bitwarden is free. It’s great. Accessible via an app or browser - just need to remember your master password and you’re good to go.

Ive started using Nordpass this year and it saved my butt here haha. Saw that i was logged out, quickly checked Nordpass and saw it was there and was back in straight away. Takes a bit of time to get all of your old passwords changed and saved in there but once its done it is so good having a password manager!!

Got an interview for the place that headhunted me on Thursday.

Where I am now is ok, just a bit of a dead end as far as IT goes. Small to medium sized software company. But the pay is 15% better at the other place.

Let’s see how we go. I’ll give em the ol razzle dazzle lol

    Panettone as economic indicator.

Every year I go to Brunswick to buy xmas panettones and other treats. They are usually sold out by the 1st week of Dec . This year prices are up again and the shelves were still full. Talking to another customer she was telling me they just can’t afford it, entertaining family and friends they buy quite a few and that would quickly add up to close to $200 each event.

Found out today that three of my colleagues have Covid and I have mild symptoms that I thought were hayfever, and decided to test and I too have the spicy cough. I’m a bit gutted as it’s my mums birthday on Wednesday and we were meant to see my cousin before she flys off to live in Ireland on Saturday. Quite upset tbh but feeling okay overall.

Combination of a few things has meant last week was extremely quiet at work, haven’t had to do much at all. Looks like it’s going to stay that way for the rest of the week until we close for Christmas on Thursday! A welcome relief with other nonsense at work still ongoing

If one more person tries to push something through before Christmas I’m gonna tell them to f off. My manager knows what I’ve got on, if they wanna push something through they can. Everyone else can get stuffed. Only 4 days left, god forbid we just coast to shutdown.

for reals. Boss keeps trying to ramp up stuff with sites and I’m like “dude, you may have been producing content longer, but Ive been front line with the cinemas for 12 fucking years, outside of emergency repairs no one’s doing shit to their equipment until after the holiday rush. All you’re doing is pissing me AND them off.”

We’ve got some keen souls like that too. They’re getting pushed to the back of the queue and making noise.
