Hi guys, I run intercambio with OrangeFren and I wanted to do a very full presentation.

Intercambio is an exchange aggregator

If you’re tired to find liquidity providers, our front-end is doing it for you. Put an amount to swap and a monero address to receive, we will display the swap and sourcing it.

Intercambio is an exchange aggregator like many others, but focused on privacy

We do everything to keep users anonymous:

  • A Tor & I2P hidden-service access, without logging (IP, user-agent ect…) or JavaScript (the clearnet access is protected by Cloudflare so be sure to use the hidden services for this feature). Image
  • Never KYC filter, to ensure no KYC procedures because selected exchanges will not
We’re also doing good user experience and swap features.

We’re trying to mix privacy with utility and a easy-to-use interface:

  • Providing multi-hop swaps. If you can’t find a swap from a crypto to an other, we will split the swap (For example: ETH on BNB ➡️ LTC ➡️ XMR).
  • A Trade tab is available if you’re running bulk swaps to follow their status. Image
We’re featured on a lot of places !
We donate to projects building for privacy

A copycat in a way, but having more options is not bad. Except this FAQ statement feels a bit disrespectful & preposterous.

    Is it really anonymous?

Unlike others exchange aggregator Intercambio is created by Trusted Monero Community members who have years of experience in providing the best possible privacy to their users.

They mean, “Unlike Trocador”…?! “Trusted Monero Community members 🤥”???

They offers a no-log policy, while Trocador is not ( source: their privacy policy). So yes they provides more privacy 🤷‍♂️ On the trusted members I dont closely follow monero to know/affirm that

Trocador shows it explicitly whether a specific CEX is no-log or requiting IP logging, which you can choose. This new thing doesn’t have TOS nor Privacy Policy to begin with. Yet as long as you use onion, logging by the front-end is rather irrelevant.

Even if the front-end is not logging anything (which no one can verify), a CEX behind it surely records the tx and retains it as required by laws (some of them might be less than perfectly legal and might not record anything, though that would mean a different kind of risk). Using a CEX is more or less risky, be it Trocador or something else. Some may think that an instant swap by CEX is convenient. Personally I prefer DEX, even though it may be less convenient, even though Monero.town itself has an official affiliate link to Trocador too.
