I think Light might be off the right-wing radar because they recognize Light as a centrist . My evidence:

• Impressionable teenager that probably would have had a successful career in anything else gets untold power, politics is a fuck
• You could squint and make a case he had some good intentions starting out but then becomes more and more fashy
• the death notes are basically like drone strikes
• Light seems like the kinda guy that would post NAFO memes
• Sometimes seen wearing a tan suit
• He would try to use the note on Donald Trump, but would fail repeatedly because he would always spell his last name as “Drumpf”
