I’m trying to figure out if there’s any way to use existing Lightning accessories with the USB-C port. For example, I have a FLIR thermal camera which cost a few hundred dollars which is now incompatible since it has a built-in Lightning port.

Apple has one for $29, but I’d rather have a rigid adapter rather than a cable.

There are also a bunch of no-name options on Amazon which claim to support data, but I’m skeptical.

As anyone tried one of these?
