For several years I’ve had an accessibility shortcut on my iPhone to reduce white point (triple click power button) and it’s really an eye saver at night time.

Having the same accessibility features on ATV 4K truly is underrated. Watching TV at night is great when I can reduce white point.

Obviously I don’t use it when watching movies but it’s great for binge watching shows.

Thank you for posting this. It’s very helpful and I like the accessibility shortcut. I have extreme photophobia and am constantly adjusting brightness levels.

Tip: use Shortcuts to automate turning reduce white point on/off on iPhone/iPad based on whether you’re home or not. If I’m home (connected to wifi), it’s on but when I leave it automatically turn off. I have the accessibility shortcut mapped to a triple click of the power button for when I want to override but rarely need to. I wish similar could be done on AppleTV based on time of day instead as I’d only want this on at night. For now, I just have it enabled in the bedroom AppleTV.

Is there a way to set a shortcut for this? Something that would turn on/off light sensitivity and white point??
