Android has always been a plaything of the tech-savvy or a utilitarian tool for the poorer masses.
If you’re in neither one of these categories, then the appeal of iOS is unquestioned.
The tech-savvy audience for Android has driven away a lot of the “cool factor”, in my experience, no one wants to be caught dead talking about the latest rom or firmware they’ve flashed onto their 5 year old Oneplus because it’s just cringe.
Apple just works, and that’s all anyone cares about anymore.
I wished Android would just work without having to tweak it!
