I very occasionally fly solo but when I do, I try and see if I can sit next to a family or a parent with kids and let them know “hey, I have little kids, mind if I sit by you all because I’m totally good with any noise, kids climbing on seats, or whatever.” Did it once and the mom was very appreciative.
