    When I was little we couldn’t afford fancy sparkling water, so I made my own by adding a handful of glitter to a glass of tap water. My mom was furious because I nearly choked to death. My dad was furious because now the whole family now knew he had a stash of glitter.

    Sparkling water in western countries is an inevitable trip down disappointment lane.

    Soda water in Asia, and Thailand in particular, kicks ass. If you haven’t tried this,

      I definitely drink the cheap American brands. I’ll have to keep an eye out for asian brands to try - though maybe I’m better off in ignorant bliss lol.

      did you know that bottled soda water contains baking soda? at least schweppes does and i think it’s the most pointless beverage to exist, considering you can just diy it and not add to landfill

      though hell I can’t deny that it does kick ass :)

        I haven’t, but my wife used to own one and said this one seems much nicer. I’d say they both perform essentially identically, it’s just the form factor
