Official releases of GrapheneOS, a security and privacy focused mobile OS with Android app compatibility.

This release is specific to 9th generation Pixels and is being published to provide a proper fix for the GPU driver regression we ran into with Android 15 QPR1 so we can switch back to the standard GrapheneOS Linux 6.1 GKI LTS branch.

Changes since the 2024120701 release:

  • kernel (Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold): switch back to standard GrapheneOS 6.1 kernel based on 6.1.118 instead of the tag based on 6.1.84 for AOSP and the stock OS which was used as a workaround for a Mali GPU kernel driver bug in the previous OS release
  • kernel (Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold): switch to Mali GPU kernel driver from Android 15 QPR2 Beta 1 which includes a fix for the massive mmap bug which caused lag and both app/system wide stalls/crashes with a newer LTS kernel revision
