Was trying to add some text to an image to make memes. Found this app while checking whether Photopia works on Android.
It’s a beta version, but was mostly ok.
I think people with tablets would find it more useful.

Lite version of krita. Better to use in tab. Awesome app.
Image Toolbox would probably be your best bet if you want a native android app.
