Only if he did it in Washington DC, on federal land. If he was in Delaware or Maryland or any other state (not Native American Reservation) they were probably state level drug offenses.

If I was the president’s son I’d be hammering down intoxicants on the whitehouse lawn regularly.

What an amazing experience that would be. Beats acid on a golf course for sure.

This is what happens when you only read conservative headlines.

Oh wait no right the ‘gun charge’ was for not disclosing he did crack on a form that’s riiiight. Next you’re going to tell me the gun charge wasn’t for concealed carry of a massive hog.

He lied on the form, doesn’t matter why, it was a crime. He came to an agreement to plead guilty with the prosecution that was thrown out. If he were anyone other than the president’s son, it wouldn’t have been, and he is at personal risk from a justice department with no accountability or integrity and a mandate to punish the soon-to-be president’s political enemies, only because he is the soon-to-be-former president’s son.

This has nothing to do with drugs.

Complain to your congressman about your drug problems, the president has no authority to resolve them for you.

What part of: “it’s the governors who need to do that, not the President” don’t you understand?

Yes, I’m sure there is nothing he could do… /S This is why Democrats didn’t win shit, you can’t do fuck all except pardon your family members and keep your rich buddies rich.

Maybe try learning how things work before bitching about things that cannot happen the way you mistakenly think they do.

The president only has the power to pardon federal crimes. Your state level crimes are at the mercy of your governor. This is not a failure of action or policy on Joe Biden’s part, but a feature of the system of checks and balances within our government. Complain to your local legislature.

He did a lot of great things for so many people. I’m sorry he didn’t make the trip out to kiss your butt specifically.

Maybe it’s my own fault I should have been born into a powerful wealthy family. It’s hard to understand you with all that baloney in your mouth.

Correct, that’s what the charge was for, lying on the gun form (also there’s one for tax evasion, but that’s not relevant here). The lie was about using crack, but the charge was for lying on the form, not for crack use.
