I just tooled around on sites for the top-ranked Futurama episodes, and no two media outlets even had similar lists. I was wondering what it would look like with a small group of diehard fans here.

Once the votes stop coming in, (assuming they start) I’ll tabulate the results.

Just give up to 5 episodes in a comment and we’ll see if any of the different outlets got it right.

**Update: **

8 Voters

25 Candidates

Assuming everyone’s #1 is their best choice candidate and they decrease in order:

In a Ranked Choice Vote Single-Winner and Dual-Winner scenario, it takes 4 rounds and “Devils’ Hands” takes first place. Luck of the Fryish takes second place with two.

I tried to recalculate it RCV style for a list of 3,4,5, but we don’t have enough votes to make it work.

In other voting calculations:

Jurassic (4), Godfellas(3), and Devils’ hands(3) won with the most overall votes.

Jurassic Bark won with the highest number of top votes after 2 rounds.

I’m afraid I can’t remember too many episode titles off the top of my head, but you’ve definitely picked two of my favorites in How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove Back and The Problem with Popplers. I can’t remember the plots of your other listings, but I probably love them too.

I’d have to add on The Devil’s Hands are Idle Playthings. Magnificent episode with one of the cleverest titles I can think of.

Let’s see if this helps. Going off of memory, but here’s what they are about.

        1. The crew land on a random planet and are starving. They find these giant piles/pits of creatures and discover they taste good. They are Omicronian babies. They end up as a popular food, called Popplers, for humans. Lrrr takes over Earth and demands to eat Leela in retribution because she at the first Poppler.

        2. Pretty sure this is the one where aliens steal Fry’s nose thinking it’s an aphrodisiac. Lrrr and his wife Ndnd are having marital struggles and Lrrr buys Fry’s nose from some dealer. The rest of the episode is spent with the crew creating a romantic date for the two so fry gets his nose back. This episode also has Big Foot in it and Lrrr protecting Big Foot from the park ranger is ultimately what brings the romantic spark back.

        3. Can’t remember.

        4. Pretty sure this is the episode where they caused random time skips to happen and they spend the episode trying to fix it. It’s got the Globetrotters in it and everyone became an honorary member except for Bender because he wasn’t in the room. This episode also includes Fry getting married to Leela in a time skip, then immediately getting divorced in the next. At the end of the episode we learn Fry can pilot the ship and the gravity pump as he got Leela to marry his by spelling out a message to her with… stars? IDK, some space thing.

        5. This is the episode where Hermes gets demoted and leaves Planet Express. New person takes over and starts a fling with Fry because he’s so sloppy, the opposite of her. Bender finds out and the new person takes Bender’s memory and sends it to the Central Beaurocracy. They go there to get his memory back. They find out it went into the master in pile, a mountain of items, and Beaurocrat #1 flies in to see what’s going on. He gives the crew 4 minutes to sort the entire master in pile and find it else they’ll be arrested(?). Hermes comes in, sorts it, finds dirt on the new person and we get the famous line “You are technically correct. The best kind of correct” and then he flies off.

I really hope I’m right on those.

3, crimes of the hot, is the one where all the robots fart to move the planet away from the sun and stop global warming, right?
