I’ll admit Zizek’s actual theory practically requires an undergraduate degree’s worth of reading for a foundation. He uses Lacanian Psychoanalysis theory of how individuals develop a sense of “Self” and merges it with Marxist Philosophy to describe how groups develop Class Consciousness or False Consciousness. He sits comfortably with a bunch of other Where-The-Fuck-Did-Fascism-Come-From theorists like Gramsci and Adorno.
Never understood ziezek. It always confuses me when he is explaining. Read this in zizeks voice and it went over my head.
