Do you seriously believe that Biden/Harris was supporting a genocide?

Well yes, the man himself may not have gone “woohoo, genocide, yippie!!” but there was absolutely an active genocide happening while the U.S. continued to give Israel billions in weapons, ammunition, vehicles, etc.

That being said, we’re gonna see it get a whole lot worse now that Trump is allowing Netanyahu to take the gloves off.

Yes, there is a genocide happening, and yes USA made ordnance and funding is contributing to it.

Realistically, Bibi will do whatever he wants. There’s too much political influence in the US from Israel for any president to withhold Irsaeli aid or munitions. The president cannot withhold congressional funding so it is up to congress to stop financing a genocide. The best Biden could do is pressure his own party to stop funding, pressure Bibi into a ceasefire, and provide emergency aid to genocide victims. To his credit, Biden and his administration has been doing all 3, but bully pulpit only has so much influence during an election year, even less so on foreign powers. The consequence of political pressure on Israel is that their PACs funded the GOP more heavily, and allowed them more advantage during our election.

Actually… The War Powers Resolution allows the president to send armed forces abroad for up to 60 days with an additional 30 day withdrawal period.

Biden/Harris 100% could deploy troops to Gaza and just, get in the way. If any troops are hurt by Israel… That could then lead to furthering the resolution and allowing the president to declare a national emergency and severely restrict ties with Israel.

Relevant bit: “a national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces”

          was

No. Are. They are currently, presently, supporting a genocide. The consensus of those who study genocides is that Israel is committing a genocide. It has become so obvious that Wikipedia just settled all internal debate on the matter.
