It’s interesting to know the orb is used basically the same as a bag, and the bag lasts me about a week before I need to change it, and that’s about when I clean all the glass anyways.

Theres no rubber bands, the XQ2 has a nice system as well as one sided bags. I usually get the bags for the volcanoe and it comes with drawstrings to tie one side. The use side, is just a glass stem with 2 plastic/rubber grommets. You slide the bag through one piece, stand the glass into the rubber and stick the two together.

It’s good to know the extra does help get more extraction, and to that point, it does seem you’re after a different extraction than I am, I’m looking for more medicinal high, so lower temps less thc>thca conversion if I remember correctly.

I can taste my bud is spend after about 3-4 bags of the same bowl, but it’s a nice even brown. It also allows the AVB to be used for butter or something if you so choose, your method wouldn’t leave much to still extract.
