It’s sad IMO, that allies have not responded to the escalation from Russia using North Korean soldiers.
I’m not saying we must send soldiers to the front, but I’m sure Ukraine could use some help with maintenance of the western equipment for instance.
Allegedly one of the reasons it took so long to get F16 to Ukraine, was the training of ground crews. I think under the current circumstances, we can easily justify helping Ukraine with such things now.Simple the US is out due to Trump being elected and Biden not being able to escalate in a meaningful way in the coming months.
Europe is trying to figure out what Trump plans to do about Ukraine and is probably setting something up to keep Ukraine capable of fighting.
I don’t think we (Europe) should wait for USA, Trump could also decide to end all US aid to Ukraine, which I personally find more likely.
He would then claim it as a victory, for saving tax payer money, despite he is undermining American interests internationally, and aiding Russia that is an obvious enemy to USA.
