White people are notorious for taking a single marginalized group that they’re a part of and acting like it makes them an “innocent wittwe victim 🥺” who can no longer oppress or do anything wrong. White women and white queers are perfect examples of this. This isn’t to downplay the bigotry they face, but like I’m saying, their primary issue with that bigotry tends to be that it personally inconveniences them. They don’t want to actually end oppression as a whole. White supremacy is just too beneficial for them, and they’re too selfish to give up that benefit.
