Biden was very bad for Germany, they might not go along with Trump’s similarly bad ideas because he is rude. So this might be good for the EU.
They pretended to not go along with Trump’s ideas the first time around, but as soon as everything went back to “normal” (ie. a polite president who doesn’t say the quiet parts out loud) they just went back to vassal mode.
I think Trump will be good for EU because he further undermines the Atlanticist camp that’s in power right now. With the war being lost and the US turning its back on Europe, these people will become wholly discredited.
