Been reading about the last time America did mass deportation (it was in 1954 and they named the operation after a slur) and we “repatriated” a ton of legal immigrants along with the undocumented ones. I feel like we’re definitely headed in that direction again but bigger - although last time it was with the cooperation of the Mexican government, so we’ll see what Sheinbaum has to say when the policy moves from theoretical to imminent.
We’ve already got the camps built (and maintained, thanks biden) to just throw all the people into if Mexico won’t take them back.
