I was just thinking about this today when someone brought up how fiction is often “What if what we do to minorities was done to white people?” The Hunger Games films are basically that. What was done to Native Americans (kidnapping children to torture and murder for the amusement of white settlers) was being done to white people in the movies.

I guess I’m not really giving much insight here other than pointing out a there are several multi-billion dollar franchises where white people get to entertain themselves thinking about being minorities. Then they get to go home and stop thinking about it while continuing to terrorize actual minorities.
