North Korea sends its troops to Russia to further participate in the war against Ukraine in exchange for money and nuclear technology.

Kyrylo Budanov, Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, stated this in a comment to The Economist.

It is noted that North Korea does not give its people or weapons to Russia for free. Moscow pays money and transfers technology for this.

According to Budanov, Russia is helping North Korea to circumvent sanctions and “strengthen” its nuclear capabilities. In particular, it shares some technologies for tactical nuclear weapons and submarine-launched missile systems.

The expanded cooperation between the two countries in the military sphere is not happening out of the blue but is the result of a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement signed by Putin and DPRK leader Kim Jong-un in June of this year.

No it’s not. More nuclear powers will make us less safe in total. It’s just that if a current nuclear power decides they will ignore it, there is little recourse. That does not mean that there won’t be a strike on something related in the future.

Correct. That list of countries is simply a list of countries with intentions that differ from Western Europe, they aren’t the bad guys and the and the English aren’t the good guys. We’re all just doing what suits our nations best as determined but rich dudes who haven’t ever had to take part in the real world.

It’s not an excuse but what I’m saying is no one is the good guys, we’re on a shitty merry go round of human misery. Different faces different places different ages all the same horrific shit done for land, profit or resources.

All fair but specific crime is happening now.

Got to call that when you see it.

                    Maybe one day: never again?

They have plutonium, the know how to make a bomb, and ballistic missiles with enough carrying capacity. At this point it’s an Ikea package… Some assembly required. It won’t be a megaton bomb with hydrogen booster etc etc… but a few kiloton-range bombs are definitely in the realm of possibility.
