Sib, all I do is avoid such things and try to recharge. It takes a lot. I’m doing a little better tho, and should start doing more interesting things that aren’t just copes (not that scrolling or hyperfixating isn’t interesting). Maybe it shouldn’t always be called hyperfixation, but rather constant special interest multitasking to increase stimulation.

I have main long term special interests that I can dip into when I feel I want to, I also get hyperfixations on things depending on the whim but I’ll find out about something completely for instance if I feel the pull to do so. I will consume everything on a given subject that can go on for days until it lifts… depends really.

Same, tho I’m a bit more self conscious. I will notice “wow I’m obsessed about this thing but it will pass” and just try to ride it out. Unfortunately sometimes everything is too understimulating even if the topic is historically of interest.

I am anxious about all the things normal people aren’t and vice versa. I love my monotropic tunnels for the most part tho. Well, I also have negative ones that are basically OCD which aren’t as fun, but it’s nice to make progress or leave those.
