    It’s cool. Miyazaki has spent ten years ruthlessly training me how to parry his bullshit. if I can parry that fucking bull I can parry his bullshit, whatever he said.

      I like some of his takes, like the one about how it’s important to actually observe living beings instead of just making fan copies of fan copies of some old cartoon based upon a living being from a long time ago in a way that makes anime derivative and repetitive instead of a fresh experience.

        Wrong Miyazaki.

        Though I like pointing out that Hayao “I’d rather be a pig than a fascist” Miyazaki, in case it wasn’t obvious from his work, is a doomer Marxist/Maoist, despises the US and was a big Union man in the 60s and 70s. 🫡
