Good morning all!

We may be anonymous strangers on the internet, but we have one thing in common. We may be a world apart, but we’re here together!

Welcome to the 24 hour pledge! I’m pledging myself to not drinking today, and invite you to do the same.

Maybe you’re new to c/stop drinking and have a hard time deciding what to do next. Maybe you’re like me and feel you need a daily commitment or maybe you’ve been sober for a long time and want to inspire others.

It doesn’t matter if you’re still hung over from a three day bender or been sober for years, if you just woke up or have already completed a sober day. For the next 24 hours, let’s not drink alcohol! We may be anonymous strangers on the internet, but we have one thing in common. We may be a world apart, but we’re here together!

I think non-alcoholic IPAs come closest to regular IPAs. To Øl does a decent job with the Implosion. There are some blondes that are very close to the real thing, most notably the Affligem Blond 0.0. The Leffe Blond 0.0 is also not bad.

Special mention for the Brewdog Hazy AF.

The supermarket near my house has quite a big selection and I have made a lil dent in it but there is still plenty to explore.

Compared to the real thing, I feel like the non alcohol stuff is fresh and light which is nice for the summer heat, but it’s just lacking a lil something.

I like IPA’s…. I’ve heard that the lagunitas hop water is good but I have yet to find/try it.

Lowlander has an IPA that is virtually indistinguishable from the real thing. But being from the Netherlands I have easy access to all kinds of Dutch and Belgian craft beers of very high quality (and price lol)
