History do be repeating itself, first as tragedy then as, you know, the thing.

They have already started speedrunning the 2016 election and blaming leftists and gay people. This time they are not even waiting for the election, they have started blaming us 5 months in advance since everybody knows it’s joever joever

All of this said, if it comes down to voting for Biden or voting independent (which is effectively just a proxy vote for Trump), I hope we can agree on what the right thing is? I am TERRIFIED of what happens to us if Project 2025 happens. I’d rather vote for the genocidal corpse who won’t take my rights away than the genocidal convicted felon who promises he will. :/

contrary to popular belief, the only votes for trump are votes for trump. the-more-you-know

The right thing is to vote third party or not vote at all. It is actually, genuinely immoral to vote for people who are committing genocide. Our vote is the only bit of influence that the legal system even pretends to sort of half-recognize; we cannot give that up to endorse genocide.

The ideas in Project 2025 have been around for decades. That faction of Republicans has been openly calling for theocracy as long as I can remember. The Democratic Party never pretended to care about it, never did anything about it. It only pretends to care now as a cudgel to scare people into voting for the genocidal Democratic Party.

Voting for the Dems out of fear of what the Republicans will do is Western-chauvinist and white supremacist. It says that Americans’ civil liberties matter more than Palestinian (and Iraqi and Libyan and Pakistani and Afghani) people’s lives.

If voting 3rd party is voting for Trump then voting 3rd party is also voting for Biden so it cancels out. If I had to pick the lesser of two evils I would have to vote for Trump because he has murdered fewer people than Biden has. But there are third parties and I don’t believe in lesser evil voting so I won’t be voting Trump.

I saw you are afraid of being incarcerated for being trans and to that I have to say, grow up and grow a spine. I had to figure out how to deal with the fear of being jailed, deported, or killed by the fascist US government for being Muslim when I was a kid and I figured out how to live with that fear. You can too. Biden’s genocide shows that no matter what lies they peddle to scam votes out of people, no mainstream politician will protect minorities. Biden hasn’t stopped any of the persecution against trans people and my state now has a bunch of trans refugees from red states. You would throw the most vulnerable people in the world, who are actively being murdered en masse, under the bus solely out of fear that you might be imprisoned? Toughen up, comrade. We’re going to need toughness and resilience to fight American Fascism, and the Democrats are hell-bent on working with the Republicans to usher in that fascism

Lmao, your first comment under this account and it’s vote apologia for the great genocider. Like everyone else will explain more better, both sides will take your rights away, and they’ll have a great time doing it.

I’m sorry for offending anyone with that statement. I’m just scared out of my mind about what is going to happen to me and anyone else like me come January :/

Spoiler: that will happen under Biden too.

Biden literally spent the last 4 years letting the Republicans do whatever the fuck they wanted half the time and implementing Republican policies on his own without them even asking him, he gave more money to the fucking Trump wall for god’s sake. You really trust that bozo will do anything at all if the Reps decide to make you illegal?

Best case scenario you will just get the roe v wade treatment: The Dems will passively let the chuds pass bills to lock you up, doing absolutely nothing whatsoever to stop it even though they have the power to, maybe if they’re feeling generous they will cry crocodile tears on TV and social medias while pretending that they really tried to do something (even tough they didn’t) and that it’s not their fault (even though it is); and when you will turn to the cis peoples you cheered for Biden alongside with, you will find that instead of being angry at Biden for having failed to protect your right they will trip over themselves to find excuses and explain to you that it’s akshualy not Biden’s fault, “he was outvoted”, “but mhu supreme court”, etc… and will move on to the next tokenizable minority to milk for electoralism points, leaving you for dead and alone to deal with the oppressive policies of the very guy they swore would protect you against it, now that they can’t anymore pretend that Biden will protect your rights, you are no longer useful to them. They will at best ignore you, at worst find a way to blame you.

      Correction:

I’d rather vote for the genocidal corpse who won’t will take my rights away despite promising he won’t than the genocidal convicted felon who promises he will. :/

There, fixed the typo for you
