Earlier, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said it had received a report from a captain of a vessel of an incident 80 nautical miles southeast of Aden. “The ship was heading southwest along the Gulf of Aden at a speed of 8.2 knots when the forward station was struck by a missile. A fire started but was neutralised,” Ambrey said in an advisory note. “A second missile was sighted but did not hit the ship. Persons on board small boats in the vicinity opened fire on the ship during the incident.”

Damn, the Houthi struck the ship 80km out at 15kph with a swarm of attack boats following up. I love how complex the attacks are getting.

I see they went with the New York Time’s passive voice for this one. Except instead of running cover for cop murders, its to cover for the West getting its ass kicked by Yemen.

"no no Yemen didn’t strike these vessels with missiles, these ships just happened to catch fire in projectile-based incidents near the coast of Yemen. We are NOT turning into corncobs rage-cry "

lol yeah, now that they realized they can’t do anything about it, they’re trying to stop mentioning that it’s Yemen taking these ships out and more importantly why
