It seems like my alcohol infused brain performs satisfactorily sa mga ganyan, wag lang sobrang wasak.
It really is nice to have hobbies. It’s really a way to connect to people kahit quiet quiet ka lang.
Also, marunong na ako kumain ng chicken feet. My coworkers just taught me. Grabe, ngayon ko lang na-appreciate ang chicken feet, I didn’t really get it back then.

I’m one of those people who grew up eating chicken feet in “addidas” form. I’ve somehow come up with a method to eat them without getting my hands dirty, tho it takes a bit of hand and mouth dexterity.
Ano yung addidas form 😭
Normal pala yun. It’s a whole new world
Ayan yung adidas: skewered chicken feet on a grill
tapos yung mala-gelatin na sinabi ko is the one that looked like this: sweet and spicy chicken feet
The way my mom cooks the latter is a sweet-and-sour adobo style but it’s also available in some Chinese restaurants. I heard it being touted as being good for the skin due to its collagen content (kaya rin mala-gelatin siya) too.
No, scratch that, kahit pang-ulam solb na!
Also I like them betamax a bit burnt.
And the idea of eating the chicken brain. ._.
And I actually like the idea of eating the chicken brain. Mejo weird nga lang kung iisipin mo. I also don’t even think about what I’m eating when I’m eating balut, so…. 😅
It’s understandable. Mahirap kainin ang helmet, mahirap lutuin ang betamax (in the sense that it quickly gets that off taste if isn’t fresh or prepared properly).
There was a time in my life though where our family survived on betamax as it’s the cheapest item in the menu. Basta may matinong sauce, okay nang pang-ulam! On the other hand, rare lang din akong kumain ng helmet since makalat syang kainin. You either have to make sure that the little bones are chewed properly, or spit them out. I like the skin and the soft parts inside of it though. I’m also the kind of weirdo who’d dig deep inside fish heads for any available meat or soft parts, so I fully accept that helmet is probably not for everyone (and neither does fish heads).
Masarap yung fish heads, mas mahirap yung helmet, for me at least
anong klaseng chicken feet yung natry mo? gusto ko silang lahat: yung medyo maalat na may kasamang black beans, yung chinese style na steamed, yung inasal, at yung adobo.
yung alcohol-infused brain ko ay may naachieve din last night: got the courage to be frank to someone ive had my eyes on, only to find out i was barking up the wrong tree. hahahaha
Adobong chicken feet! Masarap, naparami ako ng kain hahaha.
Hindi naman kayo nag-away? 😆
okay yang adobo flavor as intro to chicken feet, kasi familiar na ang lasa. and usually tanggal lansa talaga. sana matry mo rin yung iba, it is fun to experience their wide diversity. lahat , very good pulutan.
hindi naman. she was so kind about it, it turned out funny rather than awkward. all is not lost though, i think i just gained a friend.

Tonight’s Ask PHLemmy: How did you “waste” your 20s? (Serious)
Never know how to have a life, tas di din marunong magmahal. 😑
I currently am wasting it right now.
I don’t remember, and I suspect that I don’t want to.
Let’s just say that even if I die right now, I won’t be having regrets. I may not have lived the best life, but I’ve had my fun.
Being too much of a “good boy”
I read somewhere that most of the Game of Thrones stars had shitty acting projects after the show wrapped up while the midcarders had superior ones. I didn’t notice it at first but it’s true. Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, had some disappointing appearances since the show while guys like Pedro Pascal really broke out and to some extent Richard Madden.
Maybe going home to my province will clear my head a bit after some tumultuous thoughts and experiences recently. I certainly hope so.
From experience, it helps. Lalo na dahil it helps you distract yourself: new environment, new challenges, less time to dwell on the past, or sth. Best of luck!
Hi/Jack is the stupidest TV series I’ve seen this year. Such a shame because I love Idris Elba and Neil Maskell.
Wala ako makita na community so far sa Lemmy where I could compare notes with others on how dumb it is, so dito na lang. Haha.
I think some pinoys do not give a shit/fuck about abstract political concepts, ideals, ideologies like “human rights” “communism” “democracy”. They only want to get immediate tangible stuff such as food/money. That’s why they vote for strong-men like Rodrigo duterte and the like
Filipinos also tend to be easily impressed by “bardagulan” moments, particularly when the target is Marcos… to the point that they forget about the person doing the “SiCk BuRnS”.
Case in point Cayetano in 2016. He didn’t win, but to this day, r/PH continues to quote and celebrate his moments during the debates as if it wasn’t a ploy to siphon votes. Then there’s Guanzon. Oohh boy, did we get suckered in by her antics.
On a related note, this happened to Luke Espiritu, too. People voted for him because of his Marcos rants and duking it out with Gadon and Roque, but if you look at their post history, they don’t like Leody or center-left/progressive policies at all. Espiritu is more extreme in espousing those! He’s actually for same-sex marriage (read: not just civil union like what the current and previous bills want) and wants a federal government.
Human rights? Para lang yan sa mga mahinang nilalang!

I may replace my Android phone to an iPhone if Apple removes the restrictions of their third-party browsers’ engines.
Using Firefox on iPad 9 back then was a terrible experience.
They’re also officially adopting type C na and ditching lightning, which is good, and also a sign that they can be coerced by the EU.
With EU, Google also can’t reversed some Google Maps data, and that’s really frustrating for many property owners.
