It does matter. Categorizing left and right equally leads to a better understanding of who is leading in other countries in comparison. Which is growing more and more important as a world war looks possible. Trying to separate them is just cognitive dissonance. And yes. I consider them worldly as they generally seem to dictate the stance and spectrum of politics of the western world. Where our politics spawned from, relate to, and ally with.
