hahah yeah what an ass-backwards way of attempting shit on efficacy
old, stupid
hahah yeah what an ass-backwards way of attempting shit on efficacy
its kind of sad. that herd has been carefully curated over the last 2+ generations via propaganda, fear and ‘ick’ factors.
its very hard to logic people out of something they did not logic themselves into.
dude you have so much anger over absolutely nothing. youre really holding on to something that doesnt really exist, and i hope you get the help you need.
kbin shit its own bed. i know as i financially contributed to kbin and was very hurt when ernest went fucking nowhere with it. how many kbin servers are there? zero. there are zero.
the current mbin open source project is community based using community standards of contribution, has had loads of contributors and does not belong to melroy.
yeah i was kinda thinking with the chevron thing now they can dismantle anything that even kind of helped regular people. but youre right, its always been about taking from the poor to feed the rich.
with ‘fuck the poor people’ being the new GOP mantra, how could this possibly go any way but terrible
in even split and also became Mbin as well(which was literally “I don’t like how they’re running Kbin and they won’t do what I want, so I’m starting my own” by user Melroy).
this is objectively bullshit. kbin was run and managed by one guy who could not keep up and had serious personal issues. the mbin fork is just a community developed version, far more resilient to individual dev whims but still open for anyone to contribute
couldnt agree more. so much fun… but some stories are one-and-done
ha, cuz what home users need is better discoverability of their own fucking library.
i hope this put the nail in that shit services coffin
either conservatives lack empathy or texas is just so financially destitute it cant help humans
either one is telling
right, as soon they take all non-nato nations russia will finally be happpy and peace will reiiiiign
looks like something is up with lemmy.ml -> lemmy.world
seems specific to your instance.
which instances?
some are just under-powered and cant handle the influx from big places like .world. then sometimes when theres downtime, it takes an extra amount of time to ‘catch up’
.world will also stop trying for 24 hours if it detects a sync failure (no connection, etc) for long enough. moist.catsweat.com is up to date.
but even if you wanted to run that, you cant because they wont release the software or interact with foreign relays.
they dont even let you choose to grab the 4.8tb which is <10% of my home storage
i just recently downloaded this/added it to my library last year. it did not age well. it was pretty awesome back in the day, but its kinda hard to watch now
those melons!
just admit you dont want fair elections and be done with it. ‘they cant handle the results of a rigged election’ is an incredibly stupid reason not to check.
i signed an ebook thing. and my ballot was printed on paper. maybe its not everywhere, but isnt it worth checking a few counties?
2016 did not show these anomalies, nor in 2020
ive noticed several communities being moved off of .ml because of overacting mods shitting their own beds (my fav movies comm being one of them). kinda the whole point of the 'verse. i also noticed a recent sync in-congruence from .ml to .world which indicates some kind of funny business… purposeful or not
the locals at .ml seem to have this notion that theyre too big to fail, which is patently not true considering the tiny size of the fediverse overall.
id recommend users utilize a ‘home’ instance thats more of an onramp than local-content curation… (https://moist.catsweat.com/ being in this category) they tend to not defederate from any instances so users can easily switch subscriptions when shit goes sideways in the content-heavy servers without making new accounts.
