The laptop was not that good by any means, sure, but dota has always been the most demanding moba out of the competition, by far (league/hots). But yeah, then I got a proper desktop and it ran flawlessly ever since.
Well, my pc could barely run in in windows so the performance was basically the same haha. I tried it some years later and it ran perfectly.
