The whole citation talking about conservatives. The topic was democrats and their strong association to fascism. It’s a well known tie. You didn’t dispute the book or the book review. You tried to talk about something else that was off topic and I ignored it.

If you want to go off topic, most people will ignore it.

Conservatives have utterly betrayed that principle by supporting massive violations of rights such as Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid programs, central banking, government-run schools, welfare programs, the “war on drugs,” the progressive tax code, regulations on businesses, subsidies for infrastructure projects, and on and on. Such entitlements and regulatory controls are clear instances of socialist and fascist policies…

This citation I got from the article you posted was off topic?

            Did I read it wrong?

Most the article is a review of the book and how it accurately shows the democrats are fascists.

The person then says conservatives are guilty for supporting those programs. So it’s looping back to democrats are fascists since those are primarily democrat programs.

I wouldn’t call social security fascism but it’s a wealth transfer that is a waste of money.

Conservatives have supported these ideas for many decades. In other words, conservatives are as guilty as “progressive” Democrats for America’s leftward shift—and perhaps more so, because they portray themselves as defenders of individual rights while constantly undermining them.

That’s not what the author of the article you shared with me thinks.

I thought this conversation was off topic and wasn’t worth your time.

Overall, The Big Lie is rich in historical data and clearly demonstrates that Fascism and Nazism belong on the political left

Now the reviewer does argue that the Nazis were inspired by the Democrats and not the other way around.

If I believe your statement that ‘Democrats are Nazis’ and add in that statement from the article you shared with me I end up with ‘conservatives are as much as nazis as Democrats - perhaps more so’.

                    Do you feel that’s accurate?
