Even my 5g barely gets 2 bars on a good day. The only wifi (router located in the basement) rarely connects for long. Helppp

    Most mobile phone provider offer “Wi-Fi Calling” meaning your phone will use wifi to call & send SMS. Check your phone & turn on that option.

      Yeah… I did that and began to get texts saying “where are you? Why are calls going straight to voicemail?”

      Couldn’t even make a call until I turned it off yesterday.

      So be careful with wifi calling.

    You can either get a 4G / 5G outdoor antenna or change your mobile provider hoping it’s better than the old one.

    Otherwise, there isn’t much you can do.

    For android, I use an app called Connection Stabilizer Booster which helps to some extent using some tricks and optimizations, no magic though. Worth a try!

    Only real solution is installing a cell network booster with External antenna for cell connectivity, and adding additional access points for wifi.
